Kenn Taylor is a writer, journalist and project manager based in Liverpool.
Kenn has written on a wide variety of subjects over the years, though now mainly focuses on specialist areas of social history, culture, community, regeneration and the urban environment, especially in relation to Liverpool and Northern England.
Publications he has worked for include: The Guardian, The Big Issue, Metro, Drownedinsound.com, a-n Magazine, Museums Journal, Spike Magazine, FACT magazine, Liverpool Daily Post, Arts Professional, NME, The Stool Pigeon, Aesthetica magazine, Clash magazine, Mute magazine and Flux magazine.
Kenn has also contributed to several books and exhibition catalogues. Recent projects include ‘From the Ground Up: Radical Liverpool Now’, an essay about grassroots community activism in the city over the last 30 years that was featured in the book Liverpool: City of Radicals published by Liverpool University Press.
